Dr. Brittney Brock joined Glen Lake Animal Hospital in 2020 and is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive care while building lasting relationships with pets and the people who love them. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to become a doctor because of her fascination with medicine, biology, and the complexity of the human and animal body. After working in a veterinary clinic as a receptionist and veterinary assistant, she discovered her passion for veterinary medicine and was inspired by the opportunity to practice every aspect of veterinary care, from surgery and dentistry to radiology, pharmacy, and internal medicine.

Dr. Brock earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2005 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.

One of Dr. Brock’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is developing lifelong relationships with her patients and their families. She enjoys partnering with pet owners through every stage of their pets’ lives and helping them make informed decisions about their care.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Brock enjoys reading, horseback riding with a focus on dressage, gardening, quilting, and spending time at her family’s cabin. She and her husband, Lucas, share their home with three Tonkinese cats, Charlie, Stewart, and Schmidt; three Labrador Retrievers, Charlotte, Sawyer, and June; an English Setter named Huck; and a horse named Thea. Their dogs also enjoy duck and upland bird hunting alongside Lucas.

Dr. Brock’s dedication to lifelong learning, personalized care, and strong client relationships makes her a valued member of the Glen Lake Animal Hospital team.

A long-haired tortoiseshell cat sits on a pharmacy shelf surrounded by medications, bottles, and boxes in a veterinary or medical setting.

Hi! My name is Birdie. You can find me at the front desk greeting you or yelling at my co workers. My days consist of taking naps in my cubby back in the pharmacy, snacking on churu’s and getting caught snagging a taste of the plastic garbage bags around the clinic, they are organic… so it’s ok. Also, on occasion you may find me and my brother Connor in a wrestling match… I always win. Ladies don’t start fights but they can finish them.

I am so excited to see you the next time you come visit Glen Lake Animal Hospital!

Hi! My name is Connor! You probably won’t see me around the clinic much since I do a lot of the “behind the scenes” work.

My job at Glen Lake Animal Hospital is very important. I take pride in being the emotional support assistant. I lay with the surgery patients on the warming blanket during dental cleanings so they feel comfortable and reassure them they’re in good hands! I also monitor the doctors to make sure they do everything correctly!
In my free time, I enjoy sleeping on clean towels, watching birds/squirrels, and snack time! (No, I don’t enjoy eating trash bags, in fact I think they’re the scariest creature!
